Job Description

Established in 2021, POP is a marketing and fundraising firm that provides essential resources to world-class nonprofits by setting up events and creating awareness around the Phoenix, Arizona metroplex. Our focus is to provide brand recognition and long-lasting donor relations for our clients. As a result we accomplish what traditional forms of marketing and fundraising cannot. We bring on board individuals who have a natural sense of purpose and they believe in our clients' vision and mission, and the causes we are advocating on behalf of.

Primary Job Duties of an Events Assistant:

  Making phone calls and answering questions about setting up events at locations

  Complete reservation bookings per script and booking guidelines

  Email corporate clients about setting up events at their stores

  Greeting and assisting all walk-in inquiries

  Being knowledgeable of all aspects of the event set up and answering questions accordingly

  Maintaining logs accurately

  Calling past events and trying to get them to rebook.

  Communicating with staff about special needs of clients

  Maintaining cleanliness of the event

  Understanding the cash out process and having the ability to properly cash out an event

  Assist as needed in other areas as requested by a lead or manager

  Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance

Qualifications

Physical Requirements of an Events Assistant:
 

  Standing or sitting for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning

  Must be able to lift 10 lbs

  Must be able to communicate with guests and communicate via email, phone, and in person with great detail and organization


Special Requirements of an Events Assistant:

  Must be at least 18 years old

  Obtain training certification per company policy
