Fresh off a successful funding round, this well-capitalized (Series B) start-up is pioneering a new category of high-resolution perception sensing technology for ADAS and autonomous driving.

As an Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer, youโ€™ll be at the heart of this innovation, developing low-power analog and mixed-signal circuits critical to their novel sensor architecture. Youโ€™ll work closely with RF, systems, and digital teams to bring next-generation sensor chips from concept to silicon.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance, low-power analog and AMS blocks (including ADCs, Bandgap References, OpAmps, Bias Circuits, etc.) in deep sub-micron CMOS processes
  • Derive block-level specifications from system requirements and participate in architecture discussions
  • Drive schematic design, simulation (pre- and post-layout), and verification using industry-standard tools
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure robust and compact physical design
  • Participate in lab bring-up, debug, and characterization of silicon
  • Interface with RF, systems, test, and digital teams to ensure seamless integration

Key Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in analog and mixed signal IC design with a focus on data converters (e.g. SAR, pipeline, sigma-delta ADCs), OpAmps, BGRs, LDOs, and biasing circuits
  • Proven track record designing for low-power applications in CMOS
  • Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and AMS simulation tools
  • Experience with lab validation and debugging of mixed-signal ICs
  • MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Bonus: familiarity with digital calibration techniques or interaction with RF front-end designs
