Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Coordinator.

Launch your IT career in healthcare technology! We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to physicians, nurses, and administrative staff in a fast-paced oncology practice, helping to ensure the technology they rely on to care for patients operates smoothly and efficiently. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with system access and device setup, and support critical healthcare applications. Salary Range: $19.50-$24.50

Responsibilities

SCOPE : Provides initial Help Desk Support by troubleshooting and resolving routine computer, printer, & copier help desk requests. Assists in network and end user support by answering calls, documenting incidents and requests for service, setting up user accounts, and assisting user with answering questions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assists in answering calls from end users and troubleshoots and resolves routine computer, printer, & copier requests. Provides basic computer maintenance to achieve optimum PC performance, including check disk, defragmentation, and electronic mail box assistance. Escalates non-routine issues to next level of support.

-Documents and maintains records of end user issues, network issues, support, vendor communications, and hardware/software orders and shipping.

-May assist coworkers with computer systems operations including maintenance; hardware purchasing, shipping, and receiving; and hardware/software installation.

-May set up and delete user ID*s and passwords in practice management systems and submits requests to the corporate office for user accounts in file server and email systems.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Degree with an affinity for Information Technology required. Associates Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience preferred. Prior computer networking experience preferred.

Excellent customer service skills required. Hands on knowledge of MicroSoft Office Suite applications required.
