  • Assist with bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and daily accounting transaction review.
  • Play a lead support role in debt management tracking, reporting, and maintenance.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support.
  • Help identify accounting process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements, automation opportunities, and better use of accounting systems.
  • Support the implementation of accounting process improvements, reporting tools, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Assist in evaluating and using AI tools, automation, and technology to streamline accounting tasks where appropriate.
  • Support special projects related to accounting, finance, reporting, systems, and operational improvements.

  • Strong experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

  • Self-motivated, accountable, and proactive in identifying what needs to be done.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with multiple entities, departments, and accounting priorities.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in standard processes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Experience with accounting systems, reporting tools, automation, or AI-supported process improvements is a plus.
  • Experience in homebuilding, construction, real estate development, project cost accounting, or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Ethical, honest, and able to handle confidential financial information appropriately.
