What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Support core accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, and billing activities.
  • Process and verify invoices with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review employee time and expense submissions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform bank and lease reconciliations to maintain clean and reliable financial records.
  • Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting requirements.
  • Support billing structures aligned with regulatory standards, including government guidelines.
  • Contribute to audit preparation and participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows by leveraging new tools, systems, and AI where appropriate.

To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles and basic financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general business systems.
  • Any experience with systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint, NetSuite, BQE CORE, Acumatica, Sage Intacct, BigTime, Unanet, Kantata PSA, Mavenlink, Monograph, Accelo, Infor CloudSuite is a plus. (Company currently uses Deltek Vantagepoint)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in improving processes through technology and automation.
  • Accurate 10-key by touch is preferred.
