A typical day in an Entry Level Agriculture role often includes routine tasks like planting, watering, harvesting crops, or feeding and caring for livestock, depending on the type of operation. Work hours can vary with the season and may require early starts or weekend shifts, especially during planting or harvest periods. You'll usually work as part of a team, learning on the job and collaborating to ensure the farm's smooth operation. The compensation structure includes a competitive base salary along with a highly lucrative, uncapped commission plan, giving top performers the ability to substantially increase their overall earnings. The ideal candidate is competitive, relationship-driven, comfortable working independently, and motivated by an environment where performance is directly rewarded.

About the Role

This position offers an aggressive compensation structure designed to reward performance.

  • Manage the full sales process from initial outreach and needs assessment through quoting, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers and equipment opportunities.
  • Conduct regular customer and jobsite visits to develop relationships and identify upcoming equipment needs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of equipment capabilities, applications, competitive products, pricing, and market conditions.
  • Work closely with internal service, parts, finance, and operations teams to ensure a strong customer experience.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, association meetings, and customer functions.
  • Take ownership of individual sales performance and revenue growth.

  • Industrial equipment or machinery sales
  • Construction or industrial product sales
  • Outside B2B sales
