This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. FTT will require proof of status prior to employment.

General Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Assistant is a full-time, on-site position in our Jupiter, FL office. The Supply Chain Assistant will perform day-to-day purchase activities involving placing orders for procuring goods and services for the Manufacturing Operations Engineering team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works directly with Manufacturing Operations Engineers for processing of requisitions.
  • Reviews requisitions for formal RFQ processing and submittal to suppliers.
  • Works with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as delivery schedules.
  • Prepare purchase orders using Costpoint.
  • Communicate purchase order/project status with internal customers.
  • Maintain required procurement records associated with audit preparation and activities.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

  • Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties.
  • High level of analytic ability.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
  • Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, supporting teams with varying requirements.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and/or government regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Office/Lab/Warehouse environment
  • Must be able to lift to 25lbs if necessary
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion using common tools/equipment of the trade
  • Ability to lift, grasp, sit, stand, bend, type, and see computer screen
