Job description


Vicor is an American manufacturer of advanced 48V centric DC-DC converters with industry-leading power and current density, enabling breakthrough power delivery performance. As an engineering-focused company, we provide an opportunity to work with some of the most advanced manufacturing processes in the world to assemble the power modules that drive key advancements in AI, electric vehicles, and aerospace.
Vicor is looking to hire Operators to join our 3rd shift operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The 3rd shift schedule is Sunday - Thursday 11:30PM - 7:30AM. Operators are responsible for:
  • Operate work center equipment to achieve standard production rates, report on equipment downtime or malfunction and monitor work center output for conformance to specification.
  • Utilize microscopes, hand tools, measurement and test equipment to perform daily tasks.
  • Cross-train and certify in a minimum of four package assembly work centers including SMD, Underfill, Transformer Assembly, Mold, Laser Mark, Cut, J-Lead or Test.
  • Perform all responsibilities within the company's guidelines of quality, safety and cost.
  • Work with a minimum of direct supervision.
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested or directed.

Education / Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent communication and team work skills.
  • Computer Literacy.

Compensation Data
Entry Level Salary:
$17.50/hour. Rates are higher based upon experience.
20% Shift Differential for working 3rd Shift
