Openwork is assisting a local blow molding company in Smyrna, GA. in the search for an entry-level Sales Engineer with an engineering degree or technical background. This role is responsible for supporting sales development, customer satisfaction, and order fulfillment while working closely with internal teams and external clients to achieve sales goals.
Position Summary:

The Sales Engineer supports strategic sales initiatives through customer engagement, sales forecasting, market analysis, and relationship management. This position combines technical knowledge with sales execution and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support development and execution of strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Deliver sales presentations and meet with clients to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Analyze market data, sales trends, and customer needs to support pricing and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales coordination, manufacturing, and headquarters.
  • Prepare sales reports outlining performance, opportunities, and growth areas.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback for product development.
Compensation & Schedule:
  • Base pay range: $55,000-$70,000.
  • Target total compensation at 100%: $75,000.
  • Base Salary: $60,000
  • Commission: $10,000
  • Bonus: $5,000
Band hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Core hours: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
