Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant I to provide administrative support for daily HR operations. This entry-level role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, HR reporting, compliance, and employee relations while ensuring confidentiality and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Track employee attendance and assist with timekeeping processes.
  • Prepare HR documents including offer letters, employment forms, and policy updates.
  • Assist employees with routine HR questions and provide administrative support.
  • Generate HR reports and maintain workforce metrics.
  • Support compliance with HR policies and employment regulations (EEOC, FMLA, ADA).
  • Coordinate employee training and maintain training records.
  • Assist with employee communications and offboarding activities.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical HR files.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred.
