Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing Account Analysis, Bank Reconciliations, and other ad-hoc tasks assigned as needed ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in accounting and build a strong foundation in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure that company records align with bank statements.
  • Assist in preparing account analysis required to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of accruals needed for monthly reporting.
  • Monitor discrepancies and work to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary documentation for accurate reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as needed.
  • Support the accounting team in other day-to-day activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Microsoft Excel, or similar tools).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Previous accounting or finance internship experience is a plus, but not required.
