Role Description

Bradford Systems is seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team. This hybrid position supports the companyโ€™s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports.
  • Reconciling bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborating with internal departments and responding to accounting and financial inquiries.
  • Supporting external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and efficiency.
  • Using AI and automation tools responsibly to streamline routine tasks, analyze financial information, and improve reporting while protecting confidential company data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in corporate or small-to-medium-sized business accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
