Wesley Village is a nonprofit Life Plan Community serving seniors in Macomb, Illinois. Our campus offers a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and home-based services. Position Overview:
Wesley Village is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for an entry-level Accounting Associate position. This role offers part-time hours with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting or billing career while gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment and working alongside an experienced leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Support resident billing, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Assist residents and families with billing and general questions
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Prepare and make bank deposits
  • Perform general office and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Coursework, training, or experience in accounting, finance, or billing preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
