We have full-time Independent Benefits Specialist/Contractor positions and opportunities to move into leadership roles. We offer full training and mentorship even if you have no experience in our industry. Independent Benefits Specialist/Contractor use our propriety lead management system to meet with business owners and key decision-makers to discuss life and supplemental health benefits for their employees. This is an in person, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm position. Our programs are unique to the industry and are valued in the communities we serve.

How you are compensated:

The average first-year income for a Benefits Contractor/Account Representative with our agency is $50,000 per year. Management roles average $90,000+ per year. There is also an opportunity for growth in many directions including opportunities of owning your own agency. Accounts that you manage are your clients and can yield rewarding relationships – both professional and financial. In addition to great initial income, you are paid renewals for the lifetime the programs you initiate, with 100% lifetime vesting after 10 years of service. This is one of the best retirement programs in the industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Motivated and coachable
  • Licensed insurance agents a plus - Life and Health insurance license
  • Have leadership ability
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of sales experience with thorough knowledge of sales techniques.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical journals or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to create, design and implement solutions to general and customer specific problems.
  • Ability to self-direct various assigned initiatives and to work under limited supervision.

Working Conditions:

  • Work involves extended periods of driving resulting in exposure to high vehicle traffic and extended periods of sitting.
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions of heat, cold and humidity.
  • Noise level is usually moderate but can become loud.
