Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Jr. Scrum Master
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12+ months
Location: 3 days onsite in a week in Charlotte, NC
As a Jr. Scrum Master, you will:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Agile teams in adopting and adhering to Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Assist in identifying, tracking, and removing impediments to team progress
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for execution
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency within the team
  • Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, sprint progress, burndown charts) to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with senior Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to mature Agile practices
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise Agile standards and governance practices
  • Foster effective communication across business and technology stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in an Agile environment (internship or entry-level Scrum/PMO role acceptable)
  • Foundational understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative financial services environment
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
