Work You'll Do

As a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist on the team, you will:

  • Lead the intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution of Workday Financials reporting requests, defects, and enhancements across finance-related modules and reporting domains
  • Design, build, test, and maintain Workday Financials reports and dashboards for areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, expenses, procurement, and other finance functions, including advanced report types, calculated fields, prompts, filters, and data sources, with a focus on financial data accuracy, usability, and performance
  • Gather reporting requirements from client stakeholders, translate finance and accounting business needs into technical solutions, and provide recommendations to address reporting issues and data challenges
  • Lead reporting workstreams by coordinating priorities, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and supporting testing and deployment activities for report changes and Workday releases
  • Troubleshoot reporting and data issues through root-cause analysis across Workday Financials configuration, security, business processes, and effective-dated transactions, and document findings and resolutions

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Workday certification for this position
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Workday Financials to include the following:
    • Experience in leading Workday reporting discovery, rationalization, and design sessions
    • Experience in building, testing, and maintaining Workday Financials reports and dashboards for areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, expenses, procurement, and other finance functions, including advanced report types, calculated fields, prompts, filters, and data sources, with a focus on financial data accuracy, usability, and performance
    • Client facing operational support
  • 1+ years of experience working with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar, performing data entry, queries, reporting, or data analysis, including using VLOOKUP to locate information within spreadsheets
  • 1+ years of experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar 
  • Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
    • Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)
    • Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
    • Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
  • Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
