Position Overview:
The Digital Graphic Design Intern will support and learn from the digital team of the Washington Wizards (NBA).
Are you a current student or recent graduate looking for hands-on digital design experience in the sports industry? We'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the ideation, planning, and creation of engaging social media graphics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with traditional designers, video productions team, and digital departments.
  • Monitor social media trends to identify new content opportunities.
  • Use the latest software and applications to design and develop digital solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate.
  • This is an in-person position, applicants must be willing to relocate to Washington D.C.
  • In-depth experience with Photoshop, additional Adobe Creative suite experience a plus.
  • A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
  • Experience in digital graphic design for a team, brand, or company is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable about NBA players and teams; experience in college or professional sports is helpful.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to balance and prioritize several projects at once.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate: $18.40 USD/hour
