Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 Salary/year

Position Overview

CMiT is seeking experienced training professionals to support a large-scale U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) training initiative. The Trainer will deliver instructor-led and/or virtual training to end users adopting a new project management information system and related business processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience facilitating adult learning, delivering software application training, and engaging diverse audiences in both classroom and virtual environments. Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, project management platforms, or government clients is highly desirable.

This position is contingent upon contract award and subsequent approval by the client or customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions to end users.
  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences for adult learners with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Present training materials, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises in accordance with approved curricula.
  • Support user adoption and knowledge transfer during system implementation activities.
  • Respond to participant questions and provide clarification on system functionality and business processes.
  • Collect and document participant feedback and training evaluation results.
  • Coordinate with training leads, project teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful training delivery.
  • Maintain professionalism and consistency in all interactions with government personnel and project stakeholders.
  • Travel as required to support onsite training delivery.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

Option 1
  • Professional certification demonstrating competency in adult learning or training delivery (examples include CPTM, CPTD, ATD, or similar); and
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional training delivery experience.
Option 2
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional training delivery experience; and
  • Demonstrated record of successful training delivery supported by documented training evaluations.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Relevant professional training certifications are highly desirable.
Travel Requirements

Extensive travel is required for this position.Candidates must be willing and able to:

  • Travel nationwide to support instructor-led training events at USACE locations.
  • Maintain availability for travel ranging from 50% to 75%, depending on project deployment schedules.
  • Participate in overnight travel and extended travel assignments.
  • Support multiple consecutive training engagements at various locations.
  • Attend mandatory in-person Train-the-Trainer sessions in Kansas City, Missouri prior to delivering end-user training.
  • Support occasional OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) training activities as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience training users on new software platforms.
  • Experience delivering training for Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
  • Experience with Kahua, construction management systems, ERP platforms, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting federal government clients, particularly USACE or Department of Defense organizations.
  • Strong classroom facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience conducting virtual training using collaboration and web conferencing platforms.
  • Ability to adapt training delivery methods to diverse audiences and learning styles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong public speaking and facilitation abilities.
  • Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple training sessions and priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual training tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team environment.
Clearance
  • Ability to pass any required background screening or client onboarding requirements.
