Job Description

- End User Computing Technical Consultant Desktop and mobile technical expert to support development of End User Computing strategy / architecture standards and to assist in completing technical evaluations and technical recommendations for mobile and desktop solutions in an enterprise environment

- Help develop a broad forward looking End User Computing Strategy that comprehends Enterprise needs of corporation covering a wide range of business personas including office, industrial, remote and third parties

-Contribute to creation / documentation of Reference Architecture in End User Computing Space

-Act as a technical resource in the completion of product evaluations / recommendations (e.g. Android Mobile Device Management, BYOD corntainer solutions, etc.)

- Complete research and surveillance on industry trends and solutions to influence our strategy

- Bring industry perspective and technical knowledge to help develop capabilities of team 

Qualifications

Technical expert in the areas of Windows 10, iOS and Android devices

Has security and networking knowledge, particularly as it comes to modern authentication and connectivity to corporate environments from Internet Connected mobile devices

Has experience with Enterprise computing management systems (Microsoft System Center Config Manager (SCCM), AirWatch, InTune) and Virtual Desktop Environments (VMWare VDI, Citrix)

Has experience managing Windows 10 devices in a hybrid computing environment covering both cloud (Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment, Azure AD join) and on-premise (domain joined, group policy, etc) solutions

Has breadth of knowledge of general computing technology

Can communicate clearly (written and verbal) and able to translate complex and abstract concepts into easily understood content

Is comfortable with collaboration and content authoring in Microsoft O365 environment (SharePoint, Teams, etc.)

Can work effectively as part of a global team with limited direction

Experience working in large enterprises, ideally with some exposure to supporting computing requirements in industrial/manufacturing spaces
