Position Overview
Complete Computing Solutions is seeking an experienced Tier 3 Systems Engineer to serve as a senior technical resource supporting our managed services clients. This role focuses on resolving complex technical issues, serving as the highest level of escalation for the service desk, and assisting with infrastructure improvements across client environments.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience supporting Microsoft environments, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and managed IT infrastructure. This position works closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians, project engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and the Operations Manager to ensure exceptional service delivery and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues beyond Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues involving Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, networking, firewalls, virtualization, backups, endpoint systems, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, connectivity, authentication, performance, and security issues.
- Participate in major incident response and critical client escalations.
- Perform advanced systems administration, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for client environments.
- Assist with server migrations, cloud migrations, Microsoft 365 implementations, and infrastructure projects.
- Review technical documentation and ensure solutions align with CCS standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with project engineers and cybersecurity personnel on client implementations and remediation efforts.
- Identify recurring technical issues and recommend long-term solutions to improve client environments.
- Assist with advanced service requests while maintaining excellent client communication and documentation.
Client Support
- Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving complex technical issues.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding technical problems, recommendations, and resolution timelines.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation, time entries, and technical notes.
- Ensure client environments are secure, stable, and well documented.
- Build trusted relationships with clients through professionalism, responsiveness, and technical expertise.
Team Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians.
- Assist teammates with troubleshooting and technical problem-solving when needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and project teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Contribute to internal documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical knowledge bases.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of professional IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure experience.
- Strong Tier 3 troubleshooting and systems administration skills.
- Experience supporting business clients in a managed service provider (MSP), IT services, or multi-client environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, networking, firewalls, backup platforms, endpoint security, virtualization, and remote management tools.
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced service environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professionalism, accountability, and a strong customer-service mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ConnectWise or another professional services automation (PSA) platform.
- Experience with SonicWall, Microsoft Azure, Huntress, SentinelOne, NinjaOne, VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.
- Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, SonicWall, or cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience participating in infrastructure projects, cloud migrations, and security remediation efforts.

Schedule and After-Hours Expectations
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Texarkana. Regular and reliable in-office attendance is an essential function of the role.
Occasional after-hours availability is required for critical client incidents, maintenance, and emergency escalations. Any on-call rotation expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
