How you'll contribute
A CMA who excels in this role:
  • Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.

What we're looking for
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required in the state of Michigan. Additional requirements include:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Medical Assistant Program
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
