Position Overview:

As an Enrollment Manager at Galen College of Nursing, you will motivate, lead, and support the enrollment team in meeting or exceeding quarterly new student enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the composition of the local market and competitive environment relative to Galen’s goals and objectives.
  • Increase community presence and develop new recruitment strategies and outreach initiatives to include Enrollment Workshops, Open Houses, College Fairs and Community & HCA Events.
  • Developing quarterly admissions and financial aid forecasts; building, leading, and motivating the teams to ensure that enrollment goals are met.
  • Evaluate and improve the practices of the student enrollment experience, including timely, effective, and positive engagement with students and families throughout the entirety of their experiences with admissions, financial aid, and registration.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive, action-oriented enrollment strategy to manage applications through the enrollment process.
  • Utilize CRM systems for monitoring metrics and reporting purposes.
  • Oversee all aspects of admissions and financial aid enrollment operations including hiring, training, and developing of new and existing team members.
  • Evaluate individual team member’s performance on a frequent basis through observations and other coaching opportunities. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual performance feedback and plans of action, as needed.
  • Assisting the Operations Leader in improving the processes of the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Assist in preparation of accrediting agency reports as it relates to Enrollment.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 
    • Leadership experience with current best practices in enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, or registration preferred.
    • Experience with process-improvement initiatives and leadership in change-management environments preferred.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.
    • CRM experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external constituents.

  • Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: Must be able to work flexible schedule to include some evenings and occasional weekends. Ability to travel to local outside businesses, education institutions, etc. Must be able to sit at a desk for eight hours at a time.
  • Degree of Supervision: Minimal.
