Job description

As an Enrollment Specialist for PACE KC, you will be part of a team of caregivers to provide care for the people who need it most. The Enrollment Specialist obtains initial information relating to potential enrollment, coordinates the intake process, and provides information and referrals to community agencies as appropriate. The Enrollment Specialist promotes PACE KC philosophy and PACE KC mission and values to the public, prospective participants, referral resources, and any other interested parties. You will also oversee the enrollment process of prospective participants through the level of care process as determined by the State of Missouri.

About the Role
As a PACE KC Enrollment Specialist, you will be one of the first connections prospective participants and families have with our program. You will:

  • Engage with older adults, caregivers, and referral partners to explain PACE services in clear, compassionate language
  • Guide prospective participants through the PACE KC enrollment steps and level-of-care process required by the State of Missouri
  • Present information to families, community partners, and organizations with confidence and professionalism
  • Document interactions accurately in electronic systems
  • Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team committed to improving the lives of older adults
  • Represent the mission, values, and philosophy of PACE KC in the community

This role is ideal for individuals who take initiative, solve problems independently, and are energized by work that makes a real difference for older adults and their families.
Essential Skills & Qualities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking with individuals, families, and groups
  • Commitment to health equity and the PACE mission
  • Ability to work respectfully and effectively with a diverse participant population and families from many cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Comfort supporting people experiencing cognitive decline, chronic illness, or mental health challenges
  • Ability to use computer systems to document interactions accurately

Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in health, social work, business or equivalent experience.
  • Background in sales, customer service, or intake — especially in senior living, aging services, healthcare, or community-based organizations
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid in Missouri
  • One year of experience working with older adults
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates strongly encouraged to apply
