    Sunday-Wednesday, 3:30 pm-1:30 am
    Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 pm-6:00 am

Join the pharmacy of the future! Our Pharmacy client is looking for a Pharmacy Tech to join their micro-fulfillment centers, which use innovative, robotic technology in a central environment to dispense and ship prescription medications directly to retail stores. In this role, you will provide order processing support, assist in preparing and distributing medications, and run automated systems in accordance with standard operating procedures and HIPAA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry & Order Processing: Process new patient registrations, handle refill requests, interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve data entry exceptions.
  • Fulfillment Operations: Run automated machinery, sort medications, count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack, and ship orders while maintaining strict quality control.
  • Insurance & Third-Party Claims: Troubleshoot and resolve rejected insurance claims by reviewing, correcting, and resubmitting information according to plan requirements.
  • Maintenance & Collaboration: Assist on-site and remote pharmacists, escalate complex issues to senior staff, and help clean and maintain machinery to keep an orderly workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Language: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Typing Skills: Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing).
  • Technical Skills: Basic PC and web browser skills (navigating programs, online forms, and search engines).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible shift.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active PTCB or ExCPT certification.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, fulfillment, or call center environment.
  • Prior customer service or healthcare platform experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.38 to $20.42 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
