The Permanent Mission of the UAE to the UN - New York works with the Member States of the United Nations and UN Agencies to promote policies that aim to strengthen sustainable development, prosperity, and peace.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Translator. The Translator will be responsible for translating documents and speeches from English to Arabic and vice versa, as well as assisting with interpretation during meetings and events.


Qualifications

  • Fluency in both English and Arabic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Experience in translation and interpretation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of UN protocols and procedures is a plus
