Instructor, Writing and Rhetoric F1274T
POSITION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages is seeking a full-time instructor for general education courses. Specific teaching responsibilities include teaching traditional, hybrid, synchronous video, and online courses predominantly in English Composition with occasional assignments teaching Principles of Communication if qualified. The position is not tenure track but can be renewed and continued each year. Successful candidates will have experience teaching basic writing and research skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in English, Creative Writing, Rhetoric, Journalism, or closely related field, with at least 12 graduate credit hours in English or writing and relevant teaching experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least two years college teaching experience in basic writing and/or communication.
SALARY RANGE:
$40,000
