An IB Teacher is an educator who teaches courses within the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which is a globally recognized educational framework for students aged 3 to 19. IB Teachers use inquiry-based and student-centered teaching methods to help students develop critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and a global perspective. They must be trained and often certified to teach the specialized IB curriculum, which includes rigorous academic standards and assessments. IB Teachers may work in primary, middle, or high schools that are authorized as IB World Schools.

Outstanding communication, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to foster critical thinking are key soft skills for engaging diverse learners.
