Job description

Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer (EIT) to join our Phoenix, AZ office. This is an excellent opportunity for an earlycareer engineer to grow within a collaborative, peoplefocused firm that supports professional development and offers longterm career stability.

 

About the Role

You will work alongside experienced engineers in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to the planning, design, and construction of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater conveyance systems for municipal clients. This role provides handson experience with pipeline design, hydraulic analysis, and infrastructure delivery while building a strong technical foundation.


Youโ€™ll be involved in a wide variety of engaging assignments, including:

  • Supporting the planning and design of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater pipeline systems
  • Assisting with hydraulic analyses, system evaluations, and conveyance modeling
  • Preparing design calculations, technical memoranda, planning studies, and engineering reports
  • Supporting the development of plans, profiles, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders
  • Delivering highquality technical work in support of client needs

This role offers excellent opportunities to build strong technical skills in conveyance design, enhance communication abilities, and grow into expanded technical and leadership responsibilities.


  • 2+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or related engineering discipline
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • Design experience on water or wastewater projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with water distribution and wastewater collection systems
  • Exposure to pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, or conveyance infrastructure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Detailoriented with a strong commitment to quality and client service
This hybrid position fluctuates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, and copy machines.  This job will require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, construction hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. This job will require operating a company vehicle, and may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
