Engineering Technician Aversan Inc.(www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will support engineering, testing, troubleshooting, and production activities within a fast-paced technical environment. This role requires strong analytical abilities, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.

Job Type: Full Time Contract
Working Arrangement: On-site
Responsibilities
  • Support engineering teams with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems.
  • Perform assembly, calibration, inspection, and functional testing of engineering prototypes and production equipment.
  • Assist in diagnosing system, hardware, and equipment issues and provide timely corrective actions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and work instructions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and document technical findings, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, quality teams, manufacturing, and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives and timelines are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and configuration records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering technician, manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or technical support environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, testing procedures, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, testing tools, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
