Job description

Overall Goals
  • Support engineering improvement and expansion projects while meeting timelines and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements with Plant and Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Verify CAD drawings using physical measurement tools.
  • Design and optimize industrial systems, including HVAC and oil heating systems, using AutoCAD.
  • Perform engineering calculations related to power, fluid flow, and installation requirements.
  • Prepare purchase order requests, track project budgets, and maintain engineering files.
  • Create spreadsheets for machine parts, wiring, and other project requirements.
  • Follow company recycling and environmental management guidelines.
Requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, computers, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering (2nd–4th year), preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA.
