The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to support engineering operations and cross-functional project activities within a fast-paced naval power systems environment. This role will play a key part in coordinating engineering documentation, schedules, meetings, project deliverables, and communication across multiple teams to help ensure successful execution of programs that support critical naval and maritime technologies.
The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting engineers, program managers, and leadership teams in a dynamic defense manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
  • Coordinate engineering activities, schedules, meetings, and deliverables across multiple projects and functional teams.
  • Support engineering teams with document control, data tracking, reporting, and project administration.
  • Maintain engineering records, technical documentation, and configuration management files in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, action items, presentations, and status reports.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and engineering deliverables to support program execution.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, training schedules, and resource planning for engineering personnel.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and program management teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process documentation efforts.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment supporting technical and operational teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
