Job Summary:
Bestgate Engineering is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on innovative cloud-based solutions for national security. The role involves developing platforms for UAV data and collaborating with a diverse team in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Help our client develop a disruptive, cloud-based platform to consume and present UAV captured data.
โ€ข Work with a multi-functional, remote team working in a fast-paced Scrum and pair-programming environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably AWS
โ€ข Expert level knowledge of Docker and containerization
โ€ข Experience with at least one container scheduler (e.g. Kubernetes)
โ€ข Expert level knowledge of Linux system administration
โ€ข Ability to understand business goals and provide supporting infrastructure
โ€ข Comfort with CI/CD pipelines and their implementation
Preferred:
โ€ข Familiarity with MicroService Oriented Architecture a plus
โ€ข Familiarity with distributed data stores like Ceph a plus
