Join our Team: Project Manager II

Moses Lake, On-site

We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Design Engineering organization to lead major projects and New Product Development projects in a fast growing, innovative Mobile Elevating Work Platform Market. In the position, the project manager will take ownership of projects from initiation through implementation.

As part of Global Engineering Project Management organization, the Project Manger will be responsible for assembling project teams, developing resource plans, and developing schedules and applying project management fundamentals through the execution of the project. You will also assess risks, anticipate tradeoffs, and balance business and programmatic needs. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven, and have excellent problem-solving abilities.


What you'll do

  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional requirements
  • Act as a liaison between technical, business, and project stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders to build priority alignment, resolve conflicts, and drive engagement
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control projects throughout project life cycle
  • Identify, track and manage project risks, lead development of mitigation plans and track status.
  • Verify that completed projects meet project deliverables
  • Build support to influence decisions in-order to ensure aligned work towards common objectives.
  • Develop and improve project management processes and tools
  • Communicate program status to program sponsors and the executive leadership team


What you'll bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar. Or degree in Business Administration with proven experience in managing technical engineering projects for industrial products.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience which includes experience managing complex projects with multiple project teams and disciplines; experience with PM methodologies

Desired Technical Skill / Experience:

  • Proficiency on apply Project Management Fundamentals
  • Proficient in application of project methodologies, Agile, Waterfall
  • Strong collaboration and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Planner)
  • Proficient managing projects in SharePoint
  • Experience in an international environment and ability to interact successfully with different cultures
  • Experience with Business processes, New Product development and engineering change processes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Ability to develop, direct, motivate and gain the commitment of cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management, and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize and facilitate decision making

Salary: The salary range for this position is$104,400.00 - $139,200.00annually.
