We're looking for a Senior Engineering Project Manager who is high-energy, technically sharp, and ready to take real ownership. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of deep technical execution and strategic cross-functional leadership, driving complex, customer-facing software from concept to ship at Apple's standard of quality.
Description
Drive and ship large, multi-functional software development initiatives that support subscription enterprise applications
Develop a thorough understanding of software development, qualification, build, and integration processes, with deep knowledge of how software frameworks and delivery processes are structured
Collaborate with Software Engineering, Design, QA, and Build and Integration teams, as well as cross-functional partners across Apple, to build, manage, and track deliverables
Stay hands-on with product details and requirements, contribute to feature strategy and innovation, and build the relationships needed to achieve results
Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features, including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments
Continuously identify and implement process improvements for how features are built and executed
Manage cross-functional projects with complex, multi-functional schedules spanning Software Engineering and partner organizations across the Apple ecosystem
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of Engineering Project Management experience, delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle
Project management experience focused on the development of enterprise subscription applications
Experience managing projects using Agile software development methodologies
Bachelor's degree in a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience
Genuine enthusiasm for technical challenges and a demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships across diverse teams to navigate delivery dependencies
Versatile problem solver with a strong analytical approach to complex environments; adept at deconstructing problems, resolving conflicts, and leading teams to solutions
Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to filter and distill meaningful information for the right audience at the right time
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related subject area
