Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnered with a well-established engineering consulting firm to help them hire a Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced consulting engineer who enjoys balancing technical leadership with project management. You'll lead multidisciplinary building systems projects across healthcare, higher education, laboratory, commercial, institutional, and energy-focused markets while helping mentor the next generation of engineers in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from conceptual design through construction administration.

  • Serve as the lead electrical engineer and primary technical resource on assigned projects.

  • Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.

  • Coordinate closely with architects, clients, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communications.

  • Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews on project documentation.

  • Mentor junior engineers while supporting their technical development.

  • Assist with proposals, client relationship management, and business development efforts.


Qualifications and Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

  • 7+ years of consulting electrical engineering experience.

  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.

  • Strong background in building electrical systems.

  • Experience designing systems for healthcare, higher education, laboratory, commercial, institutional, or energy projects.

  • Working knowledge of applicable electrical, building, energy, and NFPA codes.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
