What We Are Looking For:

As a Senior Renewable Electrical Engineer to joining our growing renewables team and lead the design and execution of utility-scale solar projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and a culture that promotes continual employee growth and development. Preferred to have someone hybrid at one of our PSE offices, but open to remote candidates.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead the design and engineering utility-scale PV, energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects ranging from 5 MW to 100+ MW.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in assisting clients in the planning for integrating renewable energy resources.
  • Develop and review engineering construction documents, including drawings, one-lines and equipment specifications.
  • Perform and oversee electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit, one-lines and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinating project design assignments and design teams locally and with other office locations.
  • Manage electrical scope for projects of varying size, including scheduling, clients and vendors.
  • Occasional travel to projects sites to gather site-specific data as needed.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other related disciplines.
  • 8+ years experience working in the renewable energy industry.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) Licensure or the ability to get one within a year.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, SKM, ETAP, and SEL Relays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $125,262 - $160,742 annually.

This salary range reflects the anticipated base pay for candidates with approximately eight to twenty years of relevant experience. Candidates with additional experience will be considered for higher compensation. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and technical expertise.
