Description
As an AppleCare Engineering Program Manager, you will drive the overall execution of diagnostic projects from conceptualization and design to development and deployment. You will work closely with engineering teams to develop requirements, drive implementation schedules, and coordinate fixes for software and systems-related issues. Additionally, you will identify and present cross-functional risks, potential issues, and their impact on new product release readiness and other key AppleCare initiatives.","responsibilities":"Partner with AppleCare Readiness teams and Diagnostic architects to understand and lead systems and software changes impacting iOS, macOS, cloud-based server infrastructure, Core OS, and Hardware Development.
Design project implementation plans for new diagnostic requests and execute those plans with cross-functional engineering teams.
Coordinate program reviews and status updates on top engineering issues to all levels of management, including senior executives.
Lead validation of diagnostic software features and AppleCare diagnostic systems for field releases and new product launches.

Knowledge of operating systems, including iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.
Familiarity with executing product development processes.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
