Job Title: Program Manager 

Job Summary


As a Program Manager at Linamar, you will oversee engineering projects from conception to execution, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective collaboration across various teams. 

Responsibilities 


  • Lead engineering projects through all phases of development, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. 

  • Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure successful project outcomes. 

  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines and budgets. 

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices. 

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. 

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization and implementing best practices. 

  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with company policies. 

  • Other duties as required. 

Academic/Educational Requirements 


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience, training, or certifications. 

Required Skills/Experience


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project or program management. 

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMI). 

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA). 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Preferred: Experience with CAD software and engineering design processes. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
