IERUS participates in projects that address weapon systems engineering and the application of advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to support and improve the Observe-Orient-Decide-Act (OODA) loop in fire control and battle management contexts. generally seek to apply and advance machine-learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) as applied to our relevant domains of expertise. Past and present areas of expertise include:

Minimum Educational Experience:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience in program management

OR

  • Degree in Management, plus 5+ years of experience in performing program management of a defense software development activity

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Secret security clearance, preferred TS clearance and TS/SCI opportunities
  • Experience in overseeing technical and/or operational military projects.
  • Experience in at least two of the following: Operations Research, Agile Development, Machine Learning, Integrated Air and Missile Defense

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Management
  • Experience in Navy command structures and systems in execution of the IAMD mission
  • Experience with MDA, NORTHCOM, and STRATCOM in execution of the Missile Defense mission
  • Intelligence community experience with a focus on familiarity with processes for data handling and classification, IMINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, and MASINT
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Engineering experience in the defense industry
  • Proven capabilities in team facilitation and development
