We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Applications Engineering and Product Support Engineering within a growing organization focused on advanced industrial charging and energy storage technologies. This role is ideal for a player-coach leader who enjoys balancing technical leadership with direct customer engagement, product development, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering priorities, mentor a high-performing team, support customer solutions, and work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and global engineering teams to deliver innovative power electronics and battery charging solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to shape engineering strategy while remaining actively involved in solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Applications Engineering and Product Support Engineering teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Manage engineering priorities, resource planning, and team development to support business objectives.
  • Partner with Sales to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership during customer engagements, product evaluations, and solution design activities.
  • Oversee product support engineering activities, including troubleshooting, field issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and global engineering teams to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Proven experience leading engineering organizations within industrial, electrical, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical engineering solutions.
  • Experience leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
