  • Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance
  • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
  • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks
  • Holidays: 13 paid days per year

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in one or more of the following: storage, compute, networking, high performance computing, or internal tools and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a 10 person engineering team, taking full responsibility for coaching, performance management, and career growth.
  • Guide the team in designing, creating, and deploying a scalable PD IO stack.
  • Collaborate closely with and influence cross-functional leaders across PD and GCE.
  • Lead organizational efforts to work on ambiguous problems, translating undefined challenges into concrete, executable solutions.
