If you are a Maintenance Technician with basic training in maintenance of HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing, ready to contribute to the organization supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values, this may be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all Engineering/Maintenance operations, maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant, with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection.
  • Accountable for the maintenance budget, capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation for the hotel.
  • Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper completion of all duties & projects assigned to you.
  • Ensure proper completion of all the maintenance activities of the hotel's facilities, including routine and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, back of the house, and laundry operations.
  • Ensure the proper appearance of the hotel from the entrance to the roof. Ensure property completion of maintenance of the parking lot and walkways, the landscaping, service and trash areas, and the exterior of all buildings.

The ideal candidate:

  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Maintenance the designating PMs and work orders per Greens & Brand Standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of the tools used by maintenance, including use & safety

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform major life activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reach
  • Must be able to move continuously for an 8-10 hour shift on a hard surface.
  • Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on Holidays, weekends, and evenings. Long hours sometimes required.
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds, without the aid of another person.
  • Must be able to ascend up to 12 feet in height on the ladder.
  • Must be able to position ones self appropriately in order to efficiently inspect all hotel spaces, including air ducts, carry trash, vacuum, dust, assist Guests with luggage, and set up meeting rooms.
