Job Summary:

The PM Facility Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily evening operations and maintenance of a facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This role is responsible for managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining a clean and functional work environment. The supervisor works closely with other departments to support operational needs and improve facility performance.

Responsibilities
  • Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement, Cultural Pillars, Community Commitment and Core Values.
  • Knowledges of all functions associated with the Engineering/Maintenance Department trades under supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Assists in the development of in-house projects, including feasibility, cost and priority. Assist in the development of in house projects including feasibility of in house labor and estimating execution and supervision.
  • Coordinates trade teams for in-house project implementation under the direction of the project manager.
  • Ensures that work orders are being completed in a timely manner with sufficient detail and data for input into our electronic maintenance system.
  • Makes Maintenance Manager aware of any delays in completing work orders.
  • Assists the Maintenance Manager in scheduling staff.
  • Provides recommendations to the Maintenance Manager on recommendations for promotion to higher grade in craft.
  • Assists managers in the complete execution of all work orders in accordance with daily priorities.
  • Provides technical assistance to lower level Maintenance Technicians and Grounds Supervisor as required.
  • Ensures that staff is adhering to all prescribed Company, statutory/regulatory policies and procedures regarding worker safety, risk management, environmental policies, HAZMAT, HAZCOM, confined space, lockout/tagout and vehicle operation.
  • Adheres to all Company prescribed environmental policies and procedures.
  • The Maintenance Supervisor's schedule will include weekends with regularly scheduled days off during the week.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License, and be able to comply with the Xanterra/GCR Company Vehicle Policy.
  • Minimum five years' experience in general building maintenance, or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, etc. and competency in General Maintenance I & II positions.
  • Previous three year's supervisory experience or lead experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Intermediate computer skills MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must obtain a (Certified Pool Operator) CPO certificate within 12 months or one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with current National Uniform Building Codes and ADA requirements and codes.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, walking, sitting, handling, wrist motion, bending/ stooping, frequently handling and reaching outward, and occasionally reaching above shoulder, squatting bending and kneeling.
  • Occasionally carrying, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Constantly listening, hearing, seeing, and speaking.
