Job description

Crucial Link is hiring in Medina for Industrial Maintenance Technicians on both:
A shift – 5am – 5pm - $28-30/hr depending on experience
B Shift – 5pm – 5am (10% Shift Differential over base rate)
Monday – Thursday (Friday Optional OT) Rarely work weekends unless there is an emergency.
Overtime Opportunities are available.
Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Medina, OH
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (12-hour shifts) Friday Optional OT
Position Type: Full-Time • Temp-to-Hire • Manufacturing Environment

Compensation
  • Day Shift (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM): $28 – $30/hr to start (based on experience)
  • Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM): 10% Shift Differential added to base rate
Overtime available. Eligible for raise and benefits once hired on.

Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support production operations by performing equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and plays a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment changeovers according to production schedule.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks on assigned machinery.
  • Support equipment rebuilds and participates in engineering-driven improvement projects.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to quickly restore operation.
  • Assist operators with equipment setup and proper usage.
  • Request and track parts, materials, and supplies.
  • Provide training to plant employees on equipment and processes when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to OSHA, SDS, and all site safety expectations.
  • Perform related maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications or training preferred.
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing, production, packaging, or similar).
  • Must supply personal tools required for job responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written & verbal).
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills & Technical Competencies
  • Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with Aerosol is a MAJOR plus.
  • Ability to diagnose failures quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Familiarity with industrial production/packing equipment.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (not required).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
