Job description

Keep Production Moving. Inspire the Team. Elevate the Standard.

Medina, OH | Sandridge Crafted Foods

At Sandridge Crafted Foods, exceptional food begins with dependable equipment — and that’s where you make the difference. We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager who enjoys tackling complex challenges, developing strong teams, and creating best-in-class systems that keep operations running smoothly.

If you excel in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, like turning insights into action, and value collaboration as the key to success, this may be the perfect next step in your career.

Compensation:

$120,000 - $140,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

As our Maintenance Manager, you’ll report to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance and take ownership of all things maintenance—people, processes, equipment, and results.

You’ll:

  • Lead and inspire the entire Maintenance Department, including supervisors, technicians, planners, and buyers
  • Own the maintenance budget and deliver results aligned with business goals
  • Drive downtime reduction using data, metrics, and smart preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Be hands-on when it matters most, especially during critical start-ups
  • Build and execute annual equipment rebuild and capital improvement plans
  • Champion safety programs, including LOTO, electrical safety, confined space, and fall protection
  • Oversee CMMS utilization for asset management, work orders, labor tracking, and spare parts inventory
  • Partner closely with Reliability, Automation, and Facilities teams to solve problems and improve performance
  • Lead 5S efforts to keep shops and parts cribs clean, organized, and audit-ready
  • Develop training programs that grow mechanic skills and set new hires up for success
  • Use root cause analysis to eliminate repeat failures permanently
  • Set the tone for continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork across all shifts

Qualifications:

What Makes You a Great Fit

You’re a self-starter who leads by example and enjoys being on the floor just as much as reviewing reports.

You Bring:

  • 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo motors, and industrial controls
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms and data-driven maintenance programs
  • A solid understanding of OSHA, EPA, GMPs, SQF, and food manufacturing standards
  • Proven success in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and waste reduction
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • The ability to turn breakdowns into learning opportunities through root cause analysis

The Physical Side

  • Comfortable working in both refrigerated and non-refrigerated environments
  • Able to lift or move items weighing 25 to 50 pounds
  • Ready to support operations across shifts as needed
