Job Description
Our client in the Saukville, WI area is in need of a highly qualified Maintenance Manager. A qualified Maintenance Manager will be expected to manage and lead a maintenance team/contractors, develop a preventative maintenance schedule, procure inventory/parts, and support line/equipment change-overs with the production team.
Qualifications
An ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Must be hands-on and mechanically-inclined:
    • Able to show maintenance techs how to repair machines and lines
    • Willing to get hands dirty
  • Strong technical background with electrical/mechanical maintenance
    • Experience using,or programming a CMMS (CMMS implementation experience is preferred)
    • Experience with line changes or line change-overs
  • 1+ years of experience supervising maintenance employees in a manufacturing setting

Additional qualifications:
  • Experience supervising over 3 shifts
  • Experience in the packaging or liquid packaging industry
  • Contract MFG or FDA Regulatory knowledge/experience
  • PLC programming experience--would be ideal in developing Maintenance Techs in this area
  • Consistent job history (unless justifiable)
  • High-energy, with an emphasis on safety
