What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an engineering geologist?

To thrive as an Engineering Geologist, you need a solid background in geology, soil mechanics, and geotechnical engineering, typically backed by a relevant degree and field experience. Familiarity with geological modeling software, GIS, and industry certifications such as a Professional Geologist (PG) license are commonly required.
