Job description

HVAC CAD Manager position in Orange County, CA

This is a permanent position with extensive benefits package and career growth opportunities. We are a large Design-Build Mechanical Contractor that works on many of CAโ€™s biggest and best Plumbing and Mechanical Projects.

We are looking for an HVAC CAD Manager with 5 or more years of HVAC CAD Management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Train Junior Designers/Detailers the Autodesk Fabrication Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, among other BIM-applications
  • Coordinate with Plumbing Department
  • Build HVAC CAD Standards

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of CAD Management experience
  • Prior Journeyman experience

Preferred:

  • Local in Orange County
  • Familiar with Title 24, OSHPD, and ASHRAE standards
  • Currently working for mechanical/plumbing contractor
  • Medium to Large Project experience
  • Knowledge working with Revit, SysQue, BIM 360, Glue, among others
  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or similar
