This positon is eligible for $2,000 sign on bonus!
The selected candidate will join the Production Test Facility Maintenance (PTFM) repair group and will work on troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic test equipment in the digital and RF domain. The ideal candidate will be supporting production test equipment, must have a good working knowledge of electronic circuitry and RF theory. Must be able to read and understand schematic diagrams and drawings. The duties assigned to the Engineering Assistant and responsibilities include the following:
This is a first shift position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off!
  • Must be able to troubleshoot digital and RF circuits down to component level using related tools such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, multimeters...etc.
  • Ability to read and follow procedures, electronic assembly blueprints, and schematics.
  • Ability to set up and operate test equipment following test procedures.
  • Use of commercial test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.
  • Works well within a team environment and possesses excellent written and communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with Engineering when needed.
  • Works with vendors to get repair quotes and replacement parts to support repairs.
  • Solder certified to IPC-610 is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience repairing cables and troubleshooting RF switches is a plus.
