Engineering Aides are professionals who assist engineers and technical staff with a variety of tasks, including drafting, data collection, field surveys, and preparation of reports and drawings. They help ensure engineering projects run smoothly by providing technical support, maintaining records, and performing calculations or tests as needed. Their work is essential in both office and field settings, contributing to the overall success of engineering teams.

What does an engineering aide do?

As an engineering aide, you perform a variety of support duties to ensure the safe and proper construction of buildings and other structures. Your duties are to plan a schedule for the project, assist with cost estimation, and do surveying on the job site to ensure all information is as accurate as possible.
